How 4F relieves stress in the midst of exams

One of our journal entries was 'How I relieve myself of exam stress'.

Pupils of 4F contributed to this topic by offering their views and habits on how to cope with stress. Let's see what they are. Perhaps you might want to adopt them too!

Li Xin: Sleep whenever she likes/ Play

Wei Hao: Play with sibling/ Play PC/ Watch TV

Nigel: Playing games/ Basketball

Ferlyn: Watch TV/ Play on the PC/ Do homework anytime

Yean Min: Don't think of anything

It's good that most of you have an outlet of relieving stress, class! =) Oh yes, maintain a healthy diet too! That's essential.

Okie, here's Ms Seow signing off for now.
Wow, it's been a tiring week. Have been having a cold on and off while teaching... =p Hope to get better soon.

See you tomorrow!

Hi class, one of you was asking how I relieve stress. Well, I have a few ways.

One would be to go down to the neighbourhood park to have a jog. It clears my mind of what I'm studying for awhile, and gets me refreshed to continue the revision.

Apart from that, I would listen to soft music while doing subjects like Maths. As I had assessment books, I would do the problems in there and listen to some classical music. Classical music does not have lyrics in them, so it's relaxing.

Also, I take vision breaks, which is essential. When doing vision breaks, I would take the chance to drink a glass of water. This helps rest my eyes, as well as cool myself of heatiness and relieve from stress.

Maybe you might want to try any of these if it suits your style of study.

I didn't fail my English, but remembered that one year in JC I did really badly in General Paper, which is something like English. The paper was tough, and my composition was out of point. So I sought my tutor's help and stayed back in school to learn ways of coping with this subject.
