Hi ex-4F pupils,
How's the going in primary 5 now? =) Hope all's ok for you. Well, there's a lot more to expect from primary 5, but it will be a fruitful year ahead. I'm glad to see you all still mingling with your ex-classmates during recess. Take time to cultivate new friendships too. And of course, as time draws near to PSLE, being consistent in studying is important as well.
Thanks for helping out at the Maths Haven. I deeply appreciate it! Well, as you know, there are more additions and challenges this year. Let's make it a wonderful and cosy place where more and more pupils can enjoy Maths. I cannot be as free and come down to Maths Haven as frequent as I could like last year, due to my timetable. So, I'll be coming down every Monday only. That's the only day I have a free period at that time. Don't worry, on Wednesdays and Thursdays, there will be teachers around as well. Do feel free to let them know of your concerns.

Thanks for the update! My new year was great too. =) I had a gathering at church and stayed past 1am. Haha... it's a new year, no doubt, but I agree Maths Haven is getting more happening.
Well, it's actually thanks to all your help back then in 4F. Even now, all of you still come by once every ow and then to take a look and support this programme.
Be sure to come on the Rush Hour competition days this Thursday and next Monday.

Don't get over stressed over planets ok? Take time to appreciate nature as you see and learn it too. =D
Ask questions, and perhaps that may be the way to go in building up your knowledge! It's a great topic, though. You can go to the NASA website at http://www.nasa.gov/audience/forkids/kidsclub/flash/index.html to learn more about planets.
Happy exploration! It's a good family activity to carry out with your siblings or parents! Lifelong learning!!

gee,ms seow.i bet staying up till 1 am is tough!plus,learning planets is truly not easy...and mr cheng asked us to research on satellites!aieeeeeee!and i think i will have time for the competitions.oh...and i just completed the maths haven 'Decimals'word search.so easy...yoki(ps:Chang Shen said that you must give harder word searches!!!!!!!!)
News Update there is going to be a satellite crash in late February or early March we still do not know where the US spy satellite (AFP) is going to land! ahhhhhhhh

Thanks for the comment! Yea, the Decimals word search was really easy because I realised that from past issues of word searches, most of the participants could not finish it! Haha... then we can't give them prizes. But I agree that that was rather simple. I'll set harder ones the next time round.

Today i go to VCH to practice. That was cool. I can hear the sound echo.but i hate one boy's school. Laughting everywhere. Very irratating. When it's their turn to practice(the bus not there yet),they STARE at me. Oh bother. What an irratating school. No manners. Miss Siew(opps!I forgot how to spell.), can update more or not. no fun.
